Why we recognize success on the basis of only money?

I was dreaming of being successful in life from childhood time without giving much thought on what is the real meaning of success.

it is very hard to understand who is successful?
Let’s take some big names like Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Elon Musk, Shah Rukh Khan, Henry Ford, and Steve Jobs, etc.

I am sure you will say they are successful people. we dream to be like them, talk like them, look like them, money like them, fame like them, a reputation like them.
but still, I don’t understand why they are tagged as successful?

Most of use Mark them Successful because they have Hell Lot Money
yes! any successful guy has a lot of money like they can take shower in money or they can use money in place of tissue.

Too much money every successful guy have so it is one of the main reasons we tag them as successful.
everyone is attracted by money. we mark the success scale by the amount of money. you feel happy when someone has a lower salary & feel jealous when someone has a higher salary.

we are aspired to have a lot of money. everyone loves to have money to buy a private jet, a big house, party on the yacht some crazy stuff like that.

so our aspiration to have a lot of money recognizes people as successful. you meet some friend that makes a hell lot of more money compared to yourself. obviously, you will recognize them as successful. you started giving respect to them even when they are jerks!

I don’t buy this concept of success. maybe so call successful guy makes a hell of a lot of money but behind a curtain, he can be seriously diagnosed with mental problems.
How can you say people with a lot of money have a perfect life? Maybe they are facing a depression issue, insecurities about business, they have a fight with their wives, they are addicted to liquor or drugs.
isn’t millionaire want to be billionaire ?

isn’t people with a lot of money are most lonely ones? if you have a lot of money most people around will only do friendship because you are rich.
how it feel people are only around because you have money?

isn’t people with a lot of money also do suicide? there are a lot of star & business people suffering from serious mental problems.

I am not saying all successful people behind the curtain have serious problems in their life. there are can be many of them that are perfectly fine but I am just trying to understand how their life is better?

It is the false baseless concept that money is needed for a perfect life. you can have a big villa but still, you can be depressed as hell.

I haven’t seen many successful people that are truly happy. do they look like they are the happiest person in the world? all business people look boring. all pop stars look addicted. where is real happiness?

real happiness is always on kids' faces,s isn’t it? they are the ones that are most free, full of energy, happy, carefree, no depression, no money, they are the real ones. you can see even poor kids they are playing in mud carefree.

I haven’t seen many successful guys give that kind of feeling they look utterly hollow from inside. a private jet can’t make you feel secure & carefree.

So Hell Lot of Money doesn’t give me a clear understanding of why they are special? it surely builds ego that we are bigger than common people but still no content feeling. it seems like they are hiding feelings by building fake persona about themselves.

Surely they can buy everything but do we need everything? we are a limited body having limited needs. you can’t eat unlimited food when you are rich only you can eat till it’s full.

to be conclusive I don’t think money alone is justified to tag a person as successful. it is thought of my mind you can disagree to agree!
